Grow

The Christian life is not meant to be one of complacency. God means for us to grow in Him and let that light shine before others. Holy Cross, through both the longstanding traditions of the church and the activities of our own congregation, seeks to encourage you in your growth in the Christian walk.

Daily Scripture Lessons

The easiest way to learn to know and love Christ better is to read the Scriptures every day. The church lectionary prescribes daily readings in a three-year cycle. The Wartburg Project has compiled these lectionary readings for our use. Access them here!

The Word of God

We at Holy Cross are profound believers of Sola Scriptura (The Word of God Alone). Find out what we believe about how God moves in and through the scriptures.

Christian Formation and Sunday School

Whether you’re 9 or 90, we all need to learn about God in fellowship with others. Holy Cross offers Sunday school for children and adults alike and Bible studies throughout the week.

Stepping Stones

Proverbs 22:6 reminds us that we should “Train up a child in the way he should go.” The world of today, as in all periods of history, seeks to pull us and those we love away from God, and no one is as susceptible to the call of the world as our children.

The best way to protect our children and youth from this sinister call is by heeding the advice of Proverbs 22:6. Holy Cross developed its Stepping Stones program to answer this call. Stepping acts as a ministry to congregational youth from Baptism to Confirmation.

Daily Discipleship

Even when we invest ourselves fully in the life of the church, we can still grow personally by engaging in our faith in our personal lives.
