Here you will always find details on our current service projects in our community… or the world!  Right now you can participate in:

Christmas Blessing Boxes

We are packing meals ready-to-prepare for families in our community to celebrate the holidays!  Pick up a box from the church any time after the 9:30 service on Sunday November 27, 2022 and return the filled box to Holy Cross Church before noon on December 17, 2022.   Fill your box with the following:

  • box of stuffing mix
  • box of dry cereal
  • instant mashed potatoes
  • box of shelf stable milk
  • jars of turkey gravy
  • canned or dried beans
  • canned yams
  • rice
  • cranberry sauce
  • peanut butter
  • green beans
  • box of crackers
  • mushroom soup
  • bag of sugar
  • French fried onions
  • bag of flour
  • canned corn
  • box of tea bags
  • cake or brownie mix
  • mac & cheese in a box
  • can of frosting
  • canned meat (ham, chicken, etc)

You can wrap it with Christmas paper after the 9:30 service on 11/27 (our Women of Abundance ministry will be there to help you if you’re not a good wrapper) or you can take your box home and wrap it with your own paper. Fill it with the non-perishable items that are listed above and return the filled box to Holy Cross Church before noon on December 17, 2022.

Boxes will be distributed at a drive-through will take place from noon until 1:00 PM, when each car in line can receive 1 box. Boxes are limited. When they’re gone, they are gone.

This year our Sunday School is working to give sick children a merrier Christmas by sending them toys as they go through deep medical issues.
