Confirmation is the process whereby people take responsibility for the discipleship in Jesus Christ.  Anyone from age 13 on can engage in the confirmation process.  Confirmands learn about the faith, support one another in faith development, and work with an experienced Christian mentor to develop a strong relationship with Jesus Christ and a sense of personal ownership in their faith journey.
